Destiny - Installation of instruments and other electronics and machinery.

Destiny is a Selene 53 built by Jet Turn in China and delivered to its Auckland owner in mid 2008.

At the owner's request it was supplied without instrumentation.


Steve Gilmour installed a complete Raymarine system -
2 x E120 screens in the lower station;
1 x E80 screen in the upper station.
Raymarine auto pilot, wind speed, VHF radio,
sonar and standard S760 speed and depth.

Raymarine satellite TV receiver

Added a Victron 3kw invertor for silent AC supply.
To recharge house battery a 140 amp Balmar 24 volt alternator installed on main engine,
which is a QSL6 Cummins.

Vessel supplied with an auxiliary piower unit on the main shaft
and a Yanmar 4JH4TE wing engine.

A hydraulic pump was matched to the flywheel of this engine to supply hydraulic pressure for the APU.
